The LCR meter is used to measure current, voltage and phase angle and then calculate the corresponding LCR value and display it on the screen. LCR measuring equipment comes in easy-to-use handheld form and desktop form for laboratories and measurement factories. Usually LCR meters have frequencies from 1 kHz -100 Mhz or more.
         Additionally, LCR Meters often come with other useful features including list scanning and comparison functions. In comparison mode, you can pre-set sample values to be classified as ‘PASS’ or ‘FAIL’ when measuring later.
The scan list function allows automatic DUT (Device Under Test) testing under different frequencies similar to an impedance analyzer. The LCR meter is ideal for making direct and accurate measurements of inductors, capacitors and resistors using various test frequencies. The test area can be selected manually or automatically. The LCR meter can be operated fully automatically, e.g. in RS- 232, USB, LAN.
